Health requirements for Rochambeau students must comply with the local requirements of Montgomery County, Maryland.  These regulations may be different from the health policies in France or other schools located elsewhere.  Please contact nurse@rochambeau.org regarding health policy related questions. 

Maryland State requirements

  • Student Immunization Certificate is required within the first 20 days of the start of school. 
  • Record of Physical Examination (Health Assessment) is required for all new students and returning students entering 1st, 7th, and 10th grades. 

  • IHP (PAI) - Individual Health Plans for students with existing medical conditions. These forms must be completed yearly by a doctor licensed in the US. Please call the nurse for more information or see the tab "Notify-existing illness or requires medication.

  • Any medication or antibiotics to be administered during school hours must be accompanied with a physician's order and parental consent, please use this form: Authorization To Administer Prescribed Medication

    • Medication- Montgomery County School Policy does not allow transport of any medication to or from school by children. Medications must be brought by the parents to the nurse with the appropriate forms.  We cannot accept medications or forms separately.  

    • Medications must be in pharmacy labeled containers

  • Emergency contacts - name and phone number of a contact other than a parent must be provided. This is an annual requirement.

    • Preschool students are required to turn in a Childcare Emergency form.

    •  Parents of 1st grade through 12th grade students must update the emergency contact form
