Congratulations to Klara '22
Félicitations à Klara Drees-Gross '22 qui a été nommée semi-finaliste de la National Merit Scholarship. Klara est l'un des 16 000 élèves qui ont la possibilité de continuer à concourir pour 7 500 bourses d'études du National Merit d'une valeur de près de 30 millions de dollars.
Klara est entrée dans le programme de bourses du mérite national 2022 en passant le test préliminaire SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) de 2020, qui a servi de sélection initiale des candidats au programme. Le groupe national des demi-finalistes, qui représente moins d'un pour cent des lycéens américains, comprend les candidats les mieux notés dans chaque État. Le nombre de demi-finalistes dans un État est proportionnel au pourcentage de cet État dans le total national des élèves de terminale.
En plus de ses résultats scolaires, Klara est un membre actif de la communauté de Rochambeau en tant que membre de la National Honor Society et cofondatrice du Python Club.

Congratulations to Klara Drees-Gross '22 who has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist. Klara is one of 16,000 students who have the opportunity to continue in the competition for 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million dollars.
Klara entered the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which served as an initial screen of program entrants. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. The number of Semifinalists in a state is proportional to the state’s percentage of the national total of graduating seniors.
In addition to her academic achievements, Klara is an active member of the Rochambeau community as a member of the National Honor Society and co-founder of the Python Club.
