Félicitations à nos 4 élèves de Terminale qui ont été distingués cette année par le Programme national de bourses au mérite du College Board, pour leur performance exceptionnelle aux tests PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying (NMSQT) menés en 2019 à Rochambeau. 

NOUVELLE INFO (février 2021): Thomas Latendresse (Tle) est passé finaliste du Programme national de bourses de mérite 2021 !

Seuls quelques 15 000 lycéens américains, représentant moins d'un pour cent des futurs diplômés (HSD), reçoivent cette distinction. Thomas a obtenu cet honneur grâce à ses excellentes notes à l'examen PSAT/NMSQT et à un processus de candidature qui a nécessité un essai personnel et une recommandation d'un professeur. Notre lycéen talentueux est maintenant candidat à l'une des 7 500 bourses de mérite d'un montant de 2 500 dollars pour payer ses frais de scolarité à l'université, qui serait offerte au printemps 2021.

Matheo Taillandier, Ellise M. Waller et Adrien Yataco-Chatain se joignent également aux meilleurs lycéens du monde en recevant une lettre de reconnaissance du College Board.

Sur les 1,5 million d'élèves qui se sont inscrits au concours 2021 en passant le PSAT/NMSQT 2019, seuls 34 000 reçoivent cette reconnaissance et 16 000 sont nommés demi-finalistes. Ces élèves ont fait preuve d'un potentiel exceptionnel de réussite scolaire et représentent une ressource nationale de grande valeur.

Nous sommes très fiers de ces jeunes et nous voulons souligner leur incroyable réussite.

Le PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) est un test administré par le conseil universitaire et la société de la bourse nationale du mérite (NMSC) aux États-Unis.

Congratulations to our Seniors who have been recognized by the College Board’s National Merit Scholarship Program this year for their outstanding scores from the 2019 National PSAT/NMSQT test administration at Rochambeau.

NEW! -Updated Feb, 2021 - Thomas Latendresse (12th grader) has advanced to Finalist standing in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program! 

Only about 15,000 US high school students, representing less than one percent of graduating seniors, receive this distinction. Thomas achieved this honor through his top scores on the PSAT/NMSQT exam and an application process that required a personal essay and a teacher recommendation. Our academically talented high school senior is now being considered for one of 7,500 Merit Scholarship awards in the amount of $2,500 to be used toward his college tuition, to be offered in the spring of 2021.

Of the 1.5 million students who entered the 2021 competition by taking the 2019 PSAT/NMSQT, only 34,000 have been named as Commended Students, and 16,000 have been named as Semifinalists. These students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success and represent a valuable national resource.
